This is the ugly stepsister of Casa Fiesta. Same food, less upscale atmosphere. Lunch here was actually a bit creepy honestly. They are owned within the same family but there is a totally different feel about them. Service is not as good and if you understand spanish you may get insulted as the staff makes rude comments about patrons in that language.
I am not recommending this one. I thought I would share at any rate.

I have just found your great blog and have agreed every place you've blogged about that I have been to up to this one. I'm confused because you seem to be talking about Los Amigos in Ypsi but call (and link to coupons for) Los Tres Amigos a place in Ann Arbor know for bad food and service.
As for Los Amigos it is a little creepy in there but also bright and colorful. I've have always got good cheap food and good service.
I am indeed talking about Los Amigos in Ypsi. The one on Michigan Ave. I apologize for the confusion.I removed the coupon but I know there are some to be had out there as I did indeed use one.
I stand by my critique. Bright and colorful maybe but creepy. I got wretched service and was not really happy by what my Spanish fluent husband overheard from staff.
The food is cheap to be sure but I would much rather have the same thing from Casa Fiesta without the odd vibes. I could just be oversensitive.
I am always up for dissenting opinions because what may be good to me may be wretched to someone else and vice versa. Keep the comments coming, I love any and all input!
